New exhibition at Gloucester Museum and Art Gallery

My wife and I have a new exhibition opening very shortly at Gloucester Museum and Art Gallery
based around storytelling. We're really looking forward to it. There is a brief description below:

‘Lore of the Land’
Familiar folk tales are retold through the eyes of a storyteller in this lively exhibition invoking the iconic style of classic storybook illustration. Each story is loosely linked into a journey around an atmospheric semi-fictional Gloucestershire background. Comprising of models, photographs and landscape pictures, Lore of the Land’ is a fresh and evocative look at storytelling.
17th September – 29th October

British wildlife’

There will also be a colouring area for the children

Perfect for families going over for a holiday or even a day trip, (as it’s a rain or shine activity)
(they have a very nice café and craft shop at the Quay arts too.)

We hope you can make it!

UPDATE: Well the shows finished now. Thanks to everyone who went to see it.We sure do 'preciate it.
I've posted a picture of the exhibition below. The Quay Arts Centre is a really nice old building which used to be a brewery, so it was a lovely room to exhibit in. We were very pleased with how it all turned out and our little adventure on the small island. Perhaps we'll be allowed back some day.

siamese rabbits!

A while ago I was asked to make these rabbits as Wedding gift for someone.
Aww, don't they make a cute couple. I think they turned out pretty well.

Essentially Worthing magazine cover competition

A free monthly magazine available to pick up in numerous outlets in our home town of Worthing on the south coast in West sussex recently ran a cover design competition. There was no theme only that it should represent some aspect of the town. For my entry I chose to depict 'The Birdman rally'. For those that don't know about it, its a yearly event held on the end of Worthing pier.

The participants all have to create some kind of flying machine (and usually a silly costume) and then self propel themselves off of the end of the pier. The person who manages to 'fly' the farthest wins.

To cut a long story short, I won the competition with my entry below. It appeared on the cover of the august issue along with a nice little interview with myself. I was dead chuffed, after all its not often you get the chance to be on the front cover of something.
